I JUST FOUND THE BESY COMEDY-ROMANCE KOREAN DRAMA EVER! :D:D WEEEEEEE! :)
This year, I’ve been watching very few korean dramas (boohoo) as I have so many folios and a million and one things to finish BUT I finally managed to fit in some time to watch a few like:
1) Operation Proposal
2) Dream High 2
3) The Moon That Embraces the Sun
4) The King 2 Hearts
5) Brain
6) Fashion King (Skipped episodes and the ending was HORRIBLE D:)
7) Love Rain ( Did not rise up to my expectations)
8) Flower Boy, Ramyun Shop
9) Me too, Flower
10) Poseidon
11) Queen Inhyun
12) And a few others which I can’t remember right now XD
SOOOO THE BEST DRAMAS OUT OF ALL WOULD BE……….
QUEEN INHYUN AND POSEIDON! :D:D Those 2 dramas really was far above what I expected (which is good :P)! I LOVED LOVED LOVED it :) Uh, actually past tense would only be for Poseidon as Queen Inhyun hasn’t finished airing yet :P
1) Poseidon
Synopsis:
This drama is the story of the members life savers of the coast guard. The drama is based on the special duties of the Korean Coast Guard officers (rescues, terrorism threats, and other special missions) and also their obstacle in life and love. The drama takes its name from the Poseidon Team, a special forces unit of the Marines. Using the strong bonds of humanity as a basis, and through the challenges faced by the protagonists and their spirit of self-sacrifice, the drama movingly shows the significance of life and the stories of how people overcome obstacles in life.
Kim Sun Woo, who spent his school days as a troublemaker, decides to make a change in his life and joins the sea special attack team, which is called Poseidon. Sun Woo works as a promising commando, but he unexpectedly becomes entangled in an unsavory incident after 2 years. He is demoted and is sent to a maritime police office in Gunsan city. Sun Woo’s passion cools down and he slowly loses his vision as a maritime policeman. My review
I would say this is one of my favourite action-romance korean drama ever :D The chemistry between both of them were great and their acting was so epic and awesome :) What more, there was so much GIRL-POWER XD I really enjoyed this drama and always could not wait for the next episode. Waiting for an entire week for 2 more episodes was pure torture ;)
2) Queen Inhyun
Synopsis:
A romanctic comedy drama about a classic scholar who arrives 300 years into the modern times (year 2012) from the Chosun (year 1694) through time warp and meets a delinquent actress.
Park Boong Do (Ji Hyun Woo) is a scholar who had supported the reinstatement of Queen In Hyun when Jang Heebin’s schemes resulted in her being deposed and replaced as King Sukjong’s queen consort. He travels 300 years into the future of modern Seoul and meets Choi Hee Jin (Yoo In Na), a no-name actress who is expecting a career renaissance through her role as Queen In Hyun in a TV drama ‘New Jang Heebin’. My review:
OKAY, I have no idea how to tell you guys this, but this drama is better than awesome! :D It’s not one of the best, but THE BEST comedy-romance-sageuk + modern day drama I have ever watched in my entire life :) No actually, I think it beats almost all comedy-romance dramas! At first, I was a lil’ turned off by the title but I decided to check it out more and it kinda caught my attention and I decided to watch it and it was DEFINITELY NOT A WASTE OF TIME! :D The chemistry between the 2 main cast is AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING and they’re sooo cute! :D I would definitely recommend this drama anytime to anybody :) Besides that, they have the perfect balance of sageuk (historical) and modern day parts SO it was amazing to watch XD I’m currently waiting for episode 12 to come out with english subs and it’s really quite a torture :P Every day I check at least 3 times to see if the new episode has come out :P The drama has not finished airing yet, but I have faith that it will end AWESOMELY! :):) A deft. must watch! WWWWWWWWEEEE! (p.s. the ending of ep 11 was sooo sooo soooo cute. I just could not stop squealing :D Just hearing the OST gets me high :D TO ME, it’s much nicer than Rooftop Prince - but that’s just my opinion :))
